Kytherea Luxury Apartments is centrally located in South Kythira, in the quiet village of Kato Livadi. From here, the stunning beaches of Fyri Ammos, Chalkos and Melidoni are easily reached by car. Picturesque capital Chora and beautiful Kapsali are also a short distance from Kato Livadi. Closer by is the larger village of Livadi with several shops and restaurants. In walking distance there is the Katouni Bridge – Greece’s largest stone bridge, the Byzantine Art Museum and Kythira’s only ceramic workshop, Roussos, all well worth a visit.
In 2022, Kytherea Luxury Apartments’ proud owners, Maria and Spyros, rebuilt the original old village house from 1700 into modern and very comfortable accommodation. With an eye for detail and their love for local architecture, colours and materials they took great care with the interior design. Every unit has its own personal style, partly determined by the family’s carefully refurbished furniture.
Kytherea Luxury Apartments has three units. The large Kamara and Studio are located on the ground floor and the spacious Apartment is on the first floor.
The centuries old stone arches in the Kamara, Greek for vaulted room, are beautifully integrated in the new design. It is a bright and large open living area with a comfortable sofa and fire place. The double bed and two single beds make the Kamara ideal for a family of four. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a combination oven. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. The outside terrace is at the front.
At the back, you will find the Studio. Sitting on the partly covered terrace, you will enjoy the views of the green hills. The Studio has a double bed and a small single bed (for a child up to 12 years old). The kitchen is equipped for preparing a simple meal (two hotplates and a microwave). The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. The Studio has air conditioning.
The spacious Apartment on the first floor can accommodate four guests. From the large living room with open plan kitchen, you enter the very spacious terrace, orientated to the northwest, through sliding doors. Sitting here, you will enjoy the fabulous colours of the sunset, every evening throughout your stay. The separate double bedroom gives access to another terrace. The third terrace is at the front door. Choosing one of these three terraces, you can sit either in the sun or in the shade. The comfortable couch in the living room can be converted into a double bed. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and has a combination oven. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin and washing machine. There is air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom.

Prices are inclusive of bed linen, towels and cleaning. Cleaning, changing of bed linen and towels are twice a week.
If you want to stay with more than 2 people in one of the units, we ask a surcharge of € 10,00 for every extra person.
