Kypriotianika is a small village with only a dozen houses, centrally located on the island. It is easily accessible from Aloïzianika or from the main road near Dokana. Kypriotianika is not located on a main road, so peace and solitude prevail. It is an ideal place for those who want complete relaxation during their holiday on Kythira.

You will find the nearest supermarket, restaurant and kafeneion in Aroniadika, five minutes’ drive away. To make your stay in Drymonari House even more enjoyable, we recommend that you rent a car if you do not have your own car.

Drymonari House was built in 1896. The current owners have restored this detached house in recent years. The house is surrounded by a large outdoor area, part paved and part garden with plants and trees.

The interior design has been completed with great care, attention to detail and good taste. Individuality and craftsmanship are the characteristics that make the house so special. The owners, for example, have incorporated beautiful wooden objects into various features.

The house consists of three traditional kamaras, two of which have been restored and enlarged into a spacious house suitable for up to six people. The entrance takes you into the largest kamara where you find the fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room and the comfortable sitting room. From here, you go into the second kamara with a large bedroom (with a double bed) and a modern bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. The original thick walls keep all rooms pleasantly cool in summer.

An unexpected delight will be the newly built additional sitting room on the first floor. From here you have access to two spacious terraces. The views from here over the island are breathtaking, as is watching the sunrise and the sunset.

The other two bedrooms (one with twin beds and one with a small double bed) and a second bathroom (toilet, washbasin and shower) are in the second section, accessible from the first floor sitting room. These rooms, with air conditioning, are simply but comfortably furnished.

In the third kamara, which is not yet restored, there is a storage room with a washing machine.

Drymonari House features a fireplace and wood-fired central heating to make your stay very pleasant during the winter months as well.
