Walking Kythira

Countless walking opportunities

We don’t have to convince you that Kythira is a unique and versatile walking island. With the Covid-19-restrictions during the last months, we weren’t able to do a lot of our work… So we went for more walks. It is astonishing to discover that the island has so much more to offer, even to hikers who know Kythira quite well.
To give you an idea: the coastline between Avlemonas and Diakofti, the spectacular views from Ochelles, Trachilas with its caves and cliffs (the most southern part of Kythira), the ancient quarries near Melidoni, the rugged coastline east of Kalamos, Kokkinochorafa between Paleopoli and Agia Moni Monastery, the Paleokastro Hill, and much more…
All these walks are adventurous and quite challenging, taking from several hours up to the whole day, often away from the beaten track, but therefore more than worth it.
If you are up for more action and adventure, then we would like to go with you!!
