Pyrgos House – Kythira Greece

Round North

A relaxing individual walking holiday

The success of the Kythira Walking Tour is an established fact. We are proud that many walkers have now marked Kythira on their map.

We have developed two new self-guided independent walking tours to also encourage those who prefer less demanding walks: Round North (11 or 14 days) and Round South (9 days). North Kythira is characterized by its rough nature, ruins and deserted villages, peacefulness and pureness. While South Kythira is more cultivated with its sloping landscape, the capital of Chora and with Kapsali, the very scenic coastal village. These areas are so completely different, that both are worthwhile to be discovered in a relaxing walking tempo.

Round North is characterized by:

  • Daily walks of between 6 and 17 kilometres
  • Two nights in each accommodation
  • More time for relaxation after exercise
