Agios Nikolaos Excursion Kapsali

An unforgettable day-excursion on a traditional ship from 1947

This summer the ‘Agios Nikolaos’ is moored in Kapsali. The ship was built in 1947 at the famous Psarros wharf in Piraeus. It sailed for decades as a fishing boat all over the Mediterranean. Nowadays, there are only four of this special kind of ship left.
Captain Dimitris Paraskevopoulos and his son Paris restored the ‘Agios Nikolaos’ with much care and respect for tradition. In 2010 the ship was certified as a monument and is part of Greek cultural heritage.
The daily excursions from Kapsali start at 11 am and depending on the wind, sail along the east coast to Diakofti or along the west coast to Kalami. During the excursion there will be several stops for a swim in one of secluded bays. You will also sail past caves, and of course the rock island Hytra is part of the tour. Around 7 pm, you will be back in Kapsali.
The price is 50.00 euro per person (children under 12 years old receive a discount of 50 %). Included in the price is a buffet lunch on board and drinks. Reserve this unforgettable boat excursion by sending an email to or call us on (0030) 698986 3140.
